Ferencváros started the match slowly and found themselves behind in the 26th minute when Ivanovic scored for the Serbian side. However, the Hungarians responded immediately and equalized from the penalty spot through Barnabás Varga. Owusu then gave Ferencváros the lead just before half-time.

Ferencváros continued their dominance in the second half and added a third goal through Pesic. The Hungarians controlled the rest of the match and secured a comfortable 3-1 victory.

This win moves Ferencváros to the top of their Europa Conference League group, and they will be confident of qualifying for the next round.

As a Fradi fan, I’m delighted with the performance of the team tonight. They showed great character to come back from being behind and they deserved their victory. I’m particularly pleased with the performances of Varga and Owusu, who both scored important goals.

The fans showed up and were vocal for most of match. I was sitting with the season ticket holders who were all in pretty good mood after the 2nd goal. It was a great atmosphere in the stadium and the fans really helped the team to victory.

It’s only the first game and there are more tests ahead for Ferencvaros. They could be a surprise in their group.
