New season: match previews

The 121 season of OTP Bank League starts this friday and there are some very interesting games to keep an eye on this weekend.

Budapest Honvéd will host ZTE at Boszik Aréna (20:00) to begin with the League’s action. Budapest Honvéd will not be able to count on Bence Batik as he has been relegated from the team. On the other hand, ZTE hopes to start the season on the right foot after beating AC Milan in the pre-season friendly.

The action continues on Saturday with the newly promoted KTE vs Vasas (17:45) and closes with Újpest hosting Mezőkövesd Zsóry FC (20:00).

Last but not least, Sunday starts with the match between Kisvárda Master Good and DVSC (15:45) followed by Paksi FC vs MOL Fehérvár (18:00) already with the great absence of the legendary Nemanja Nikolics. The first matchday ends with Ferencváros taking on Puskás Academy (20:30) at the Groupama Arena. In addition to their recent international success, Fradi are looking for a winning start to the tournament with new recruits Mats Knoester, Xavier Mercier, Rasmus Thelander and Adama Traoré.
