37 year old Jäger has been a football referee in the Salzburg Football Association since April 3, 2004. Since the 2010/11 season he has been in charge of games in the first league today 2nd league . In 2014/15 he was promoted to the Bundesliga . He has been a FIFA referee since 2018. He made his first international appearance on March 9, 2018 in the U17 European Championship qualifier Scotland U17 – Croatia U 17 0-0. His brother Florian is also a referee.
He is fairly experienced at UEFA level, with 3 adult International friendly matches, 2 UEL qualifiers, 1 UCL qualifier and 2 previous UECL qualifiers under his belt. He has not refereed any teams from Azerbaijan previously. His only involvement with Hungarian teams is in season 19/20 where he took charge of the U21’s friendly match v Croatia and a UEFA U19 youth league match in 19/20 between HSK Zrinjski Mostar v MTK Budapest.

He has been involved in qualifying matches for the 2023 UEFA U21 Euros. Wishing him well for his debut match, a significant moment in his career.

33 year old Sebastian Gishamer has been on the FIFA István of referees since 2019. This will be his first match in the UEFA Conference League, although he has been involved in matches in the UCL & UEL qualifiers. In 20/21 he refereed Slovenia v San Marino in an International friendly. He has never refereed a team from Romania or Hungary.

His only involvement with either nation is in 19/20 were he took charge of the Slovakia U17 v Gibralta U17 game during the UEFA U17 Euros qualification.
