- The weekend kicked off with Tamás Hajnal getting half an hour for Stuttgart in their 2-1 win over Freiburg. Hajnal came on at 1-0 to VFB.
- Gabor Babos and Krisztian Vadócz both played the whole game for NEC in their 2-1 loss at home to NAC Breda.
- Zsolt Korcsmár was Man of the Match (according to Brendan Husebo) for Brann in their 1-0 victory over Haugesund. “He is the epitome of calmness in defence.” said Brendan.
- Marko Futacs again got 3 minutes for Portsmouth in their 1-0 loss to Hull City.
- Zoltán Stieber was replaced at half-time in Mainz’s 3-1 loss to Kaiserslauten. He went off at 1-1.
- Gergely Rudolf made his debut for Panathanaikos in their 1-1 draw away to Atromitos. Rudolf came on after 60 minutes with Atromitos leading 1-0, and had a goal in the Panathanaikos equaliser.
- Vladimir Koman played 20 minutes for Sampdoria in their 0-0 draw at home to Grosseto.
- Imre Szabics again got on the scoresheet for Sturm in their 1-1 draw with Innsbruck.
- Daniel Tozser assisted two of the goals in Genk’s 3-0 win over Standard Liege, and Laszlo Koteles also made some decent stops to keep another clean sheet for the Belgian champions.
- Roland Juhász played the whole game for Anderlecht in their 1-0 win away at Gent.
- Gabor Király kept a clean sheet for 1860 Munich in their 4-0 victory over FSV Frankfurt.
- Balázs Dzsudzsák said his goodbye’s to the PSV fans before their game with Ajax.
- Robert Feczesin played the whole game for Brescia in their 0-0 draw with Torino.
