Position Last Season – 8th
Coach – Tamás Artner
Odds – 54/1
Player to watch – Peter Halmosi. The obviously pick. Halmosi isn’t quite the player he used to be at 32, but his lack of pace is replaced by a wealth of experience. He still possesses the same quality, and his crossing is almost always on the money. Providing 5 goals from midfield last season, Hali will be hoping for a bit more from the former Hull City man if they are to perform to expectations this upcoming season.
Rising Star – Kornel Kulcsar. The 20 year old midfielder joined from Kaposvar in January as a possible replacement for Istvan Kovacs put hasn’t yet performed to the ability expected of him. A former Hungarian Under 19 international, Kulcsar has bags of ability put perhaps not the right mentality. Big season ahead for all concerned.
Realistic Target – Hali are another side who could end up finishing anywhere in the table. They have ability in their squad, but with a lack of depth they could be relegation threatened. Their camp have recently declared that they are expecting a European challenge, and they could very much do so, but like most sides in the league, it’s all down to the start.
