Bulgarian FA temporarily stop selling tickets for Nations League Match

Important info coming out from Bulgaria today for anyone planning to travel to Bulgaria for the Nations League Semi Final match on March 26th.

The Bulgarian FA has just released a statement, saying it has temporarily STOPPED selling tickets for the Nations League playoff semi-final against Hungary in Sofia on March 26 as part of the coronavirus prevention measures. Info via Metodi Shumanov on twitter.

In connection with the restrictions announced by order No. RD-01-117 / 08.03.2020 of the Minister of Health for attending sports events on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria and as a consequence of the measures to limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the Bulgarian Football Union suspends ticket sales for the upcoming Euro 2020 semi-final playoffs against Hungary on March 26th and the European Youth Qualification against Estonia on March 29th.

The Bulgarian Football Union maintains constant contact with state authorities, the National Operations Headquarters and UEFA and is ready to react promptly in the event of a change in situation and eventual abolition of restrictions. In the event of a final decision to play the match in private, all supporters who have purchased tickets will be informed of the ways in which they will be able to receive their money back.

Due to the force majeure situation, the accreditation procedure for media representatives wishing to cover the matches of Bulgaria “A” and Bulgaria U-21 is postponed.
