Ádám Farkas with full Europa League debut match

In a week where it has now been confirmed by the UEFA referee committee that Sándor Andó-Szabó will step down from the FIFA list at the end of the month and be replaced by Balázs Berke, Ádám Farkas has now been handed his full Europa League debut match. To date Farkas has taken charge of 5 Europa League qualifying matches, 1 Champions League qualifier, 2 International friendlies and several matches in various UEFA youth tournaments/leagues. He has a young team in terms of Assistant referees and the 4th official out with him but that is balanced by 2 very experienced AAR’s. Sándor Piller is also out in this round as a UEFA referee observer.

Good Luck Ádám & team.
